Our Mission
During the pandemic, I started making Reading Pillows to help kids rediscover the joy of books in a world overwhelmed by screens. Each pillow holds a story—something many children in underserved daycare communities don’t have access to. My mission is simple: put a Reading Pillow into the hands of as many preschoolers as I can. Bedtime stories are disappearing, but they matter now more than ever. As Emilie Buchwald said, “Children are made readers on the laps of their parents.” Help me bring back those precious moments—one pillow, one story at a time.
